My sindhi friends,

First of all thanks for taking time to post your precious views on this important or unimportant topic (I dont know).

We Pakistani sindhis are equally sad in this unforgetable incident happened with our sindhis during partition which is surely irrepairable. But I would disagree with pushpa that: "What we can do now is just to be a good human being and waste no time in making a fuss over what we have already lost..."

Because this century is the age of reunification and I am not talking about anything political here. As this all happened due to stupid polititians in the past. They forgot "Nations are not made on the basis of religion but its a hundreds of years process". And a nation comes before any religion.I am talking about people to people contact by the use of IT, for example this group.

Let me tell you some realities from our side. firstly We dont consider our indian sindhis as landless people because they have a land that is called "sindh" and this is a historical truth. The real dilema with us was our 80% educated sindhi middle class migrated to India and the decision makers remained the uneducated landlords so they only saw their benifit and nothing else. When Bhutto came to power in 70s he promoted sindhis in jobs and education. so when sindhi middle class started developing they knew their history , culture and realities about what happened during the partition. If you study our literature then you will feel that we are feling the same pain in our hearts that is in your heart.

Secondly one thing I can proudly say that sindhis in Pakistan didnt fight in the name of religion as we dont consider our hindu sindhis as aliens. Both of us respect eachother in such a unique way that we participate each of our ceremonies as the way it is celebrated by Hindus or muslims. Usually when we met we inhesitantly say "Namastay or Aslam-o-Alaekum". This is a fact that I am telling you today. How can we be devided as Sindhi muslims and hindus. We are a nation budy!!!!!

Thirdly I am not saying "Why are u learning other languages?" or I am not propagating hate against other nationalities. Rather sindhs message is always Peace.I am just stressing the need of sindhi unity only and not against anyone.

Here in canada when I saw Indian Punjabis and Pakistani Punjabis are creating joint organizations just in the name of Punjabi nation. Why cant we be like them.

My suggestion is first we should debate openly on the blocking isues between us. We are a second and third generations after partition and it is our prime responsibility to do something for sindh...

Like today as canadian sindhis we succesfully manage to put sindhi and english translated sindhi books in 5 liabraries of Toronto and adminton...

Finaly just to share this video sung by khushi lalwani with all of u just to touch our emotions....

Jag Sindhi Jaag. Nahain Wail-a- sumhan ji nahain..

Lets make new sindh...full of love
